The LCHS Choir hosted a mattress sale fundraiser in April. In the auxiliary gym, 40 mattresses were put on display. This event was to help raise money for the LCHS Choir program. Over 20 mattresses were sold. The mattresses were sold at a lower cost and the profit was divided between the company and the choir program.
Choir director Spencer Rockford said he did the same fundraiser at a school he previously worked at and brought it to Limestone. He plans to have the fundraiser continue for the foreseeable future.
Freshman choir student Noah Martin said, “It was cool and was very goofy. It was unique.”
Rockford stated that this will happen again next year on April 5th.
