Assassin’s Creed returns to its roots

Assassins+Creed+returns+to+its+roots

Tomorrow (October 5, 2023) Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the newest installment in the Assassins Creed franchise, will be released.   Here’s what gamers need to know.

Mirage was never supposed to make it as a stand-alone game.  This game will bring back features from previous releases.  One renewed feature is from Assasin’s Creed Unity’s “Black box missions” where players can get secret documents or explore in any direction and do not have to follow a strict path. Also unity’s parkour style where players are not so brought down by their own weight will make a return. Ubisoft, the game’s developers,  are also bringing back the old fighting style, so instead of slicing and dicing through missions, players will have to parry and block attacks expertly.  Mirage will have a smaller map than the more recent releases.

The cost for the game will be $50 on all platforms.   It is rated T for some of the game’s violence and language.

Will AC fans love this new installment?  Time will tell.
