Fruit snacks are quite possibly the staple snack of our childhood, though it’s not known for certain which ones are the best. Many people would argue that “Scooby-Doo Fruit snacks” are the reigning champions of the fruit snack world, while others would beg to differ. Fortunately, “Limelight” was able to put together an official fruit snack taste test to find for certain which fruit snack is truly the greatest.

We tested the top four types of fruit snacks; Motts, Scooby Snacks, Welch’s, and fruit snack sharks, and rated them on texture, appearance, taste, after taste, and chewiness, on a scale of one to five.

Overall the Welch’s fruit snacks won by a landslide with 150 points out of 200. With good flavor, nice texture, and a solid chewiness, it was hard for the Welch’s to place any less than first.
