Congratulations to members of the Class of 2024 who were recognized on Tuesday, November 17, as Judith Sapp Scholars by the local Kiwanis Club.

The honor, named in memory of former Oak Grove teacher and Kiwanis Club member Judith Sapp, recognizes students graduating in the top ten percent of their 8th grade class.

Dr. Allan Gresham, superintendent, and Mr. Skip Light, Limestone Township Supervisor and Kiwanis Club president, were on hand to present the awards during Rocket Academy.

Traditionally, these students are recognized as 8th graders in the spring with an awards banquet.  Due to Covid restrictions, the banquet was canceled.
