This fall season there are a plethora of new Halloween, horror, and slasher films coming out in theaters and eventually on streaming services. These releases include Saw X, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Haunted Mansion, and more.
Saw X, as the name suggests, is a part of the Saw series. A quick description of the film is: John Kramer, The Jigsaw Killer, travels to Mexico hoping for a miraculous cure through a hazardous procedure only to discover that it is all a scam and there is no procedure. Kramer then uses traps and puzzles to get back at the scammers and make them pay for tricking him. It is rated R and was released in theaters on September 29th. The movie has a lot of positive reviews and even an 85% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It is the 10th movie of the series and is a direct sequel to the original Saw which came out in 2004 as well as a prequel to Saw II released in 2005. Saw X is going to be the longest Saw movie to date being 1 hour and 58 minutes long. Some notable actors and/or actresses in Saw X are Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, and Steven Brand.
Some more horror movies releasing this fall are Totally Killer (October 6th), Thanksgiving (November 17th), Dear David (October 13th), and Sister Death (October 5th).
Non-horror movies releasing this fall include Wish (November 22nd), The Creator (September 29th), What Happens Later (November 3rd), and even a new Hunger Games movie, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (November 17th).
