Halloween town brings back many memories and it is one of the many movies that have lots of childhood nostalgia attached. Watching this movie again, feels very cheesy but still very enjoyable, especially at this time of year with the Halloween season. The movie starts with Marnie and her kids following grandma home to Halloweentown – and find out they come from a family of witches. On her 13th birthday, Marnie finds out she is a witch, but she and her family are a part of a fight with an evil that is threatening to take over the world. The music is very well done and is composed by mark Mothersbaugh who composed many classic movies over the last two decades. Halloween town is a classic childhood movie with many small twists but still an existing easy story to follow with many jokes for any audience. I highly recommend watching this movie this Halloween. I would rate this movie a 3/5 because it has a lot of nostalgia but is very corny.
