On February 20, 2022, Hector Izaguirre broke the record for powerlifting at Limestone.

“Feels great to accomplish something as a rocket knowing my name is going to be up on the board for a while, but I still have a year left to get that number even higher, and I know that if I take the proper steps to get there I will,” said Izaguirre.

The previous record-holder was Brandon Pence at the weight of 555 pounds, now the record is 560 pounds.
