Mr. Mike Eakle, Limestone High School’s business teacher, has been named the Junior Achievement Regional Teacher of the Year. He was honored at a ceremony on March 20th.
“I feel very honored to have been chosen for this award,” said Eakle.
Junior Achievement (JA) is a global, nonprofit organization that inspires and prepares students to succeed in their future by providing hands-on learning programs in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Eakle regularly welcomes JA volunteers into his classroom and takes students to local JA competitions.
Eakle enjoys working with students every day. “I try to provide students with the tools that they are going to need to be successful after they leave Limestone,” Eakle said.
Eakle teaches consumer education, business, law, orientation to business, and co-op.
