On November 11, 2024, hosted an event for the veterans called Donuts with Veterans.
With the help of the Lchs administration and Key Club, Veterans were welcomed to the building to visit with students and enjoy breakfast.
This was the first year for the event which ran from 8:30-10:00 a.m. in the school cafeteria. It also included a tour of the school.
Mrs. Donna Starr, a veteran who served in the Air Force in Alaska, said, “I thought it was really nice. The students were very engaged, talking to all of the veterans. I loved the school tour showing us all of the new improvements to the school.”
