Mrs. Erin Vietti is Limestone’s new principal.
Vietti previously worked at Pekin for 17 years before coming to Limestone. She came to Limestone looking for a change in scenery and wanting to advance her career to become a principal. Vietti also shared, “ I wanted to impact more students but also more teachers.”
Vietti loves how respectful, welcoming, helpful, and inclusive not only the staff and students have been, but also the community. She said she was nervous coming into a new district, but, with the kind ways she has been treated, it has been a positive transition.
Overall, Vietti would like to see more students involved at LCHS. “I want to see more students involved in things and whatever they’re passionate about; exploring more and branching out,” she explained.
As principal, Vietti plans to with others to improve attendance, graduation rate, academics, and overall school safety as part of the strategic plan.
